Join our consultant network

Independent, but backed by a firm
You do the work. We handle the rest.
We handle
Finding clients, contracts, marketing, and invoicing.
You keep
Your own business, your schedule, your methods, and your other clients. You choose which projects to take.
You get
A Think Big Collective email in Google Workspace, branded templates, promotion on our website, and a community of fellow consultants.
How pay works
$90–$120 / hour
Fractional development directors and fundraising coaches
Usually 10 to 32 hours a month per client
$75–$100 / hour
Grant writing
Pay is usually set per project. The hourly ranges show how a typical project rate breaks down.
We aim to pay more than a comparable firm role, since you cover your own benefits. We also take a lot of the unpaid hours off your plate, from finding clients to chasing invoices, so more of your time is paid.
You see the scope and fee before any contract.
We confirm your pay in writing before work begins.
We pay monthly invoices within 30 days.
